Travel to Nevada’s Pyramid Lake (45 minutes north of Reno) and spend an afternoon and the next morning catching the biggest trout you’re ever likely to see. These are two full half days plus overnight accommodations – about a $2,000 value. You’ll be fishing in a 21′ fully equipped Lund boats (electronics, downriggers, etc) with a local GSSA supporter who knows where the big ones lurk. Fishing over two days lets you take home four fish each (two per person per day limit). These are some of the biggest and best-eating trout on earth! You’re likely to catch a lifetime record cutthroat trout (25 lbs is not uncommon) and see some spectacular country many never see.
